The
Action Plan offers tools to help you practice new skills
and plan new activities that promote early literacy.
This weeks Action Plan focuses on how adding books, writing
materials and print materials to your environment can
promote early literacy experiences for children.
The
Action Plan has four parts:
- My
Thoughts: Some things to think about before you plan
a new activity or idea.
- My
Plan: An outline to help you gather and prepare the materials
you will need for the activity
- My
Results: Some questions to help you reflect on how the
activity went, what impact it made on childrens
learning, and what you might do differently in the future.
- Teachers
Try This! Simple techniques that teachers can try right
away to promote early literacy.
To
complete the Action Plan, you can:
