Physical aspects of the environment, such as the materials that are in a setting, can have a significant influence on behavior. Adults can create print-rich environments to promote and encourage literacy goals. Functional print is print that has a clear purpose in classroom activities. Engaging children in meaningful learning experiences is an effective way to promote early literacy skills.	Can name 2 examples of literacy learning opportunities in their environment.
