URonline Help: General

Internet Browser

    This site requires your browser to be either Netscape or Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher. The browser is the software that allows you to view internet pages.

    Many of you probably already have the correct browser, but sometimes it is difficult to know, so we'll run a little test to show you what browser you're using to view this page.

    You are using:

    If the message above reads either Netscape 4.0 or higher or Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher, congratulations you are ready to proceed. If it doesn't, then click Upgrade Browser to fix this problem.

JavaScript
    In order to enjoy HURonline and all of its features, it is important that you have a JavaScript Plug-In. The following is another test which checks for the plug-in.

    If the above message says JavaScript is enabled on your computer, you can move on. If it is not enabled, click Fix JavaScript.
Images
    Occasionally when you are viewing web pages, you might come across a "broken" image which looks similar to one of the following:

    If you see a broken image while viewing HURonline, please take the time to e-mail us about it so that we can fix it. To e-mail us, click on the feedback link on the bottom of this page.
Plug-Ins
    Occasionally when you are viewing web pages, you might come across a "broken" plug-in which looks similar to one of the following:

    If a broken plug-in occurs, consult the help pages for the page you are trying to view.
Cookies
    Cookies are small files that many websites put on your computer to store information. In order to make this site most beneficial to you, we recommend that you allow cookies be set on your computer. The following images are pop up windows which you might see when cookies are present.


    For help setting your browser options to allow cookies, click Help with Cookies.
Screen Settings
    In order to get the best possible experience at HURonline, we recommend the following display settings:

  • To help with the quality of the videos and images, colors should be set at millions of colors.
  • In order to view as much of the site as possible, screen area should be set at no less than 800 x 600 pixels.
  • If you are not familiar with how to change these settings, click Display.
